Data collected

We only collect the data needed for our services to work properly:

  • Surname, first name and email address (contact, registration and newsletter forms)
  • Phone number (if provided voluntarily)
  • Professional information (company, role)
  • Browsing data: technical cookies and, only with your consent, audience measurement cookies

Cookies and audience measurement

The site uses cookies and trackers, and measures its ads, as follows:

  • Technical cookies, essential to the operation of the site (session, security, language preference). They do not require consent.
  • Measurement and marketing tools, loaded only after your agreement via the consent banner: Microsoft Clarity (anonymised understanding of page usage), Google Analytics 4 (traffic statistics) and LinkedIn Insight Tag (measurement of our LinkedIn campaigns). Until you click “Accept”, none of these tools is loaded and no measurement cookie is set.
  • Google Ads conversion measurement, only if you accepted the banner: when you arrive on the site from a Google ad and then register for a session, we send Google Ads the technical identifier of that click (“gclid”) and the time of registration, without your name or email address, to know how many registrations our ads made possible. Without your consent, nothing is sent.

Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed at any time; if you refuse, any existing measurement cookies are deleted. The retention periods specific to each tool are detailed in the privacy policies of Microsoft, Google and LinkedIn.

Data of analysed companies (Sagora Analytics)

As part of Sagora Analytics, our financial analysis reports may contain personal data relating to the leaders, directors or shareholders of the analysed companies (where a natural person is identifiable in the annual accounts). This data is not collected from the individuals concerned: it comes exclusively from the annual accounts made public by the Central Balance Sheet Office of the National Bank of Belgium (Article 14 of the GDPR), excluding the register of companies (CBE / KBO). The processing is based on the legitimate interest of Sagora and its clients in the financial analysis of companies (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR), from lawfully public information. This data is kept for the duration of the report's availability to the client and for the applicable legal periods. The individuals concerned have the rights set out below, including the right to object based on their particular situation, exercisable at contact@sagora.eu.

Public company pages

In the Companies section of the site, Sagora displays pages built from public registers: the open data files of the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (FPS Economy) for the identity, legal situation and activities of companies, and the Central Balance Sheet Office of the National Bank of Belgium for their annual accounts. No natural person is presented: sole traders have no page, and neither directors nor the list of names in the annual accounts are displayed. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of Sagora and the public in information about companies (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR); the data is not collected from the individuals concerned (Article 14). It follows the updates of the registers, is cached for twenty-four hours at most and is never used for direct marketing. In accordance with the GDPR, you have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@sagora.eu.
