Understand. Decode. Act.
Master your numbers and make better decisions. Training, analytics and advisory in finance for SME leaders and managers. Since 2006, in Brussels and Luxembourg, by professors from Solvay Brussels School.
What brings you here?
Train myself
To train is not to transmit content, but to give the means to act. The Learning division brings you clarity, rigour and autonomy.
Diagnose my numbers
Your numbers have more to say than you imagine. The Analytics division turns them into clear, visual and usable analyses.
Discuss an assignment
The right decisions are not made alone. The Consulting division supports you in your strategic decisions.
Sagora, the modern Agora of finance
Finance training, financial analysis and consulting for executives
Understand, decode, act: three movements of one method, not three separate businesses. Our training, our analyses and our advisory work each go through all three.
Understand
Read the reality before commenting on it: the business model, the numbers, the cash.
Decode
Connect the numbers to each other and to the strategy, so that they finally say something.
Act
Turn the reading into a decision, then the decision into a measurable effect.
A level of analysis for every decision
Every report is analysed and validated by a Sagora financial analyst before it is sent.
What your accounts actually say
A readable report built on the accounts filed with the National Bank of Belgium: the indicators that matter, how they evolve, and the warning signs explained in plain language.
- The cash journey. Where the cash comes from, where it goes, what is left at year end.
- Profitability and structure. Margins, debt and solvency, placed over time rather than in isolation.
- Sourced findings. Every observation points back to the account lines behind it.
- Signed off by a human. No report goes out automatically: a Sagora consultant approves every send.

The report is not the final deliverable. It opens the conversation: its lines of enquiry are worked through with us, in training or on an assignment.

At the same cost, AI transforms your financial analysis. The skill of judging it makes the difference.
The rare skill is no longer producing the analysis: it is knowing how far to trust it. AI only adds value when a human judges it. On the same budget, it then frees up time for what matters most: acting on the levers that create value. Getting trained and well advised is no longer an extra; it is what separates those who endure AI from those who extract real value from it.

Ziegler bankruptcy: three signals every leader must read
Behind Ziegler's bankruptcy, its 2024 accounts already revealed three signs of strain. A concrete framework for any leader who wants to see it coming: the structure of the balance sheet and the net cash position, EBITDA and the map of cash flows.

Don't panic: why patience is your best ally in turbulent times
In 2020, the S&P 500 fell by almost 35% before rebounding just as fast. In turbulent times, the temptation to sell is costly: the real risk is not the decline, it is missing the few days that make performance.
