Jean Laignelot is Manager Valuation, Modeling & Economics at EY-Parthenon, which he joined in 2019. A specialist in company valuation, financial modelling and transaction support, he carries out valuation and modelling engagements in transaction and M&A contexts. A management engineer graduated from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (ULB), he is also an assistant in financial analysis there, a dual grounding that feeds his ability to explain valuation mechanics as much as to apply them. Within Sagora’s Consulting division, he works on valuation and modelling engagements: company valuation in a sale or acquisition context, building financial business plans and reviewing models. His approach is that of the transaction practitioner: documented assumptions, auditable models and conclusions that can be defended in front of a counterparty.
