Each year, many Brussels-based SMEs miss out on the Consultancy Grant from the Brussels-Capital Region, a financial support covering 25% to 70% of the cost of external consulting. The grant supports projects aimed at improving strategy, organisation, or financial performance. Eligibility conditions
To benefit from the grant, you must:
- be an SME with at least one operating site in the Brussels-Capital Region
- operate in an eligible sector
- carry out an economic and commercial activity (not subsidised at more than 75%)
- be compliant with social security, tax, and legal obligations
comply with the EU de minimis aid framework (cumulative cap over three fiscal years)
And above all:
⚠️ Your application must be submitted before the start of the assignment, before any contract is signed or any invoicing takes place.
How does it work?
Here are the concrete steps to follow:
1. Contact us
Together, we define an eligible consulting assignment. We will provide a clear project description, the project manager’s CV, and a signed quote.
2. Submit your application
Via the MonBEE portal, including:
- your signed quote
- a description of the assignment
- an extract from the Belgian company register (BCE)
- any required certificates
3. Start the assignment at the right time
It may begin:
- at the earliest, the day after your application is submitted
- at the latest, three months after the official approval notification on MonBEE
4. Complete the assignment and submit supporting documents
At the end of the project, submit the final invoice and a brief report.
5. Receive the reimbursement
Once the file is approved, the subsidised amount is paid directly to you.
How much do you stand to receive?
- Base rate: 25% of eligible costs
- Possible increases: up to 70% (notably for starters and micro-enterprises)
- Maximum amount: €7,500 per year
- Minimum intervention: €500 per assignment
- Up to 3 assignments per year may be subsidised
