- Professor of Finance and Accounting at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (Université Libre de Bruxelles) and Academic Director of the Master in Management of Banking and Finance in Hanoi
- Doctorate in Economics and Management Science

- Managing Director of the QTEM international network and the Master in Management of Banking and Finance, Hanoi, Vietnam
- Former management consultant at McKinsey & Company
Laurent GHEERAERT is Professor of Finance and Accounting at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (Université Libre de Bruxelles) and Academic Director of the Master in Management of Banking and Finance, Hanoi, Vietnam.
Laurent has a Doctorate in Economics and Management and a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) at all levels
He is also Managing Director of the international QTEM network, ‘Analytics for a Better World’ (www.qtem.org)
He acts as an advisor to several public and private institutions, particularly in the valuation of projects or companies, financial management, financial modeling, financial intelligence, Islamic finance.
He is a former management consultant at McKinsey & Company (Brussels, Johannesburg, Dubai)
